WATER-OPERATED FLOOR SYSTEM (W-SYSTEM)
The water-operated floor system by ArgillaTherm for heating and cooling is very responsive, very easy and quick to install compared to conventional screed systems.
The basic or base material of the system are the patented HUMID modules with a thickness of 40 mm installed floating on the floor. Click here for further information on HUMID modules.
Thus, the system has a virtually CO2-neutral storage medium.

The water-operated floor system is used in the following buildings:
Installation
The pipe will be inserted in the groove structure of the HUMIDs after floating installation of the modules. Couplers are not required! Special reinforced fabric is placed on top and finally the whole structure will be grouted with flow compound. The cover is only approx. 1 cm thick and accessible after a few hours. Covering or tiles can be installed on this surface.
Advantages of the water-operated floor system
- The system responds quickly and generates unrivaled high capacities for heating and cooling. This is owed to the system structure and the highly conductive base material – the HUMIDs.
- Virtually CO2-neutral large storage medium.
- No drying times, accessible after a few hours.
- Easy and fast installation.
- The structure height is only approx. 50 mm.
