CEILING SYSTEM FOR ROOM DEHUMIDIFICATION (F-SYSTEM)

Range of application

The system for humidity control is used in the following buildings:

• Office and administration buildings
• Schools and daycare centers
• Hotels
• Museums and special buildings
• Healthcare facilities
• Residential buildings

System structure

The system consists of 3 layers:

1. The mounting layer
   Consisting of 22 mm OSB or ESB chipboards with groove/tongue-connections. This layer serves for mechanical decoupling and as mounting level for the HUMID neutral modules. This layer can be omitted in case of wooden walls with a coefficient of shrinkage of less than 0.05 % per 1 % of wood moisture change. However, this is subject to approval by our technical department.
2. The module layer
   Consisting of the HUMID neutral modules.
3. The surface coating
   Either consisting of the HUMID universal plaster developed by us followed by finishing clay paint or the natural lime plaster likewise developed by us with finishing lime wash.

The lime plaster coating will be used in buildings with clean room characteristics, e. g. where the surfaces must be suitable for wiping. These may be hospitals, clinics, hotels, or schools for example.

Otherwise, the HUMID universal plaster coating with clay paint will be applied.

The system structure is only 55 mm. The system can be mounted directly to ceilings or separated and/or suspended by means of lathing or suspension systems, as desired.

The utilization of the system for humidity control offers the following advantages:

• Safe utilization of the arising moisture in the building (reliable simulations on the humidity behavior can be prepared on request).
• Natural moisture utilization without the use of energies.
• Optimum room air humidity in summer, as well as in winter (approx. 50 %).
• Silent humidification and dehumidification with minimum space requirement.
• Room climate suitable for allergy sufferers and asthmatics.
• Easy and cost-effective installation.
• The system is virtually CO₂-neutral, which has an extremely positive effect on the eco-balance of the building.

Bottom line: this is an energy-neutral, cost-effective, and virtually CO₂-neutral humidity control system for the creation of the perfect room climate.
