Whilst it provides cosy warmth in winter, in summer it cools with the same efficiency as an air-conditioning system \u2013 completely free of noise and draughts, and at just half the energy cost.<\/p>\n

The general problem: cooling systems only work if the air in the room is sufficiently dehumidified. This can be achieved either via a central ventilation system with integrated supply-air dehumidification or via the cooling surface itself, for which a moisture storage capacity of around 700 ml per square metre must be available.<\/p>\n
